Unitedworld School of Business, also known as UWSB is a constituent institute of Karnavati University. The institute was established in 2009 in Ahmedabad. Currently, the institute offers a BBA, PGDM and PhD programme under various specialisations of Management. PGDM programme offered by the institute is approved by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Apart from the course curriculum, the institute conducts several additional activities such as industry internship, public speaking, group discussions, seminars, workshops and more to enhance the skills of students. The institute has a total strength of over 25 faculty members.
One of the unique features of UWSB is its Unique Industry Certificate programme. This programme is offered under the collaboration with several industry partners, partner institutes and professional associations. The programme helps students to understand the demand of the industry even before they step into the marketing world. Some of the partner institutes and organisations are KPMG, NIVT, NIIT, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), AHRD and more.
The institute also focuses on its education delivery method. In the first year, students are exposed to immersion programmes and start-ups followed by internships to work on live projects. During the second year, students can participate in various industry certificate programmes to gain more knowledge about the industry. The institute also offers student exchange programmes, summer schools, study trips, study abroad programme under KU Global.

UWSB, Karnavati University Admission Process
Currently, the institute offers a general BBA programme along with different specialisations at the UG level. Apart from this, the institute also offers an AICTE approved PGDM programme and a PhD programme in Management. Admission to all these programmes is conducted online through the official website of Karnavati University. Candidates need to register and fill an application form to apply for UWSB admission process. Below mentioned are the details regarding all the programmes:
UG Course
- Admission to BBA is based on KUAT scores
- Candidates, who have completed Class 12 from a recognised board, can apply for UG programmes
- Final selection of students will be based on KUAT scores and the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI)
PGDM Course
- PGDM admissions are based on CAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores
- Candidates, who have completed bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream from a recognised university, are eligible for PGDM admissions
- Final selection of students will be based on the entrance exam scores and the performance in GDPI
PhD Course
- Admission to PhD programme is based on UGC NET/ JRF/ TRF/ CSIR/ ICAR/ ICMR/ DBT/ DST/ GATE/ CAT scores
- Candidates, who have completed master’s degree from a recognised university, can apply for PhD programme
- Final selection of students will be based on the entrance exam scores and the performance in PI and viva
